With the reputation of Trakai’s delicious kibinai spreading all over Lithuania, the number of restaurants that serve the dish is increasing. The high-class restaurant “Karališka Senoji Kibininė” is proving particularly popular among Vilnius residents and visitors, and has the added benefit of an extremely convenient location near one of the busiest Lithuanian highways, A1 Vilnius-Kaunas, 23rd kilometer.
With its astonishing architecture and luxurious interior, Karališka Senoji Kibininė is a tribute to the tradition of “Senoji Kibininė” in Trakai. We offer our guests Karaim, Tartar, Lithuanian, and international cuisine. Of course, one of the most popular dishes is kibinai, with as many as 23 different types on the menu. Not only can guests enjoy a classic kibinai with mutton or vegetables, but those looking for new flavors will be surprised by the taste of kibinai with curd, cubed bacon or chocolate. We are delighted that our regular visitors include not only Lithuanian residents, but also many foreign guests who appreciate the authenticity and traditional cuisine of the restaurant. The restaurant is popular with large groups of tourists, due to the spacious halls, free car and bus parking, delicious food and excellent service, as well as the opportunity to buy our baked goods and other souvenirs as gifts. For the convenience of those in a hurry, there is a KIBIN DRIVE quick-service line, which is available from 7:00 to 00:00 without even leaving your car.
Kibinai is not the only choice for customers. Traditional Lithuanian dishes and drinks are available on the menu, which offers a wide assortment of salads, meat dishes, and desserts.
What sets “Karališka Senoji Kibininė” apart is the original interior design, with attention to even the smallest detail. Customers visit the restaurant to celebrate family holidays, birthdays, christenings and weddings (up to 500 persons at the same time). For anyone seeking a romantic setting with good music, the restaurant hosts music evenings on Fridays and Saturdays from October through April. Customers have the option of booking separate tables in the hall, or booking the entire hall for celebrations without worrying about music.
